JAMIE FIRESTINE, LMFTA
Jamie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate who fosters a warm and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to explore their
thoughts, feelings, and behaviors openly. Believing in the inherent strength of each person, Jamie empowers her clients to identify and build upon their unique strengths while collaboratively addressing areas for growth and healing.
Jamie integrates multiple evidenced-based practices to tailor her therapeutic
interventions to meet the unique needs and goals of each client she serves. These
methods include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), The Gottman Method,
Emotionally-focused Therapy (EFT), and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). Through these approaches, she helps her clients navigate various life challenges,
develop coping mechanisms, and cultivate healthier patterns of thinking and relating.
Jamie works with a diverse population, including teens and adults of all ages, couples, and families. With a focus on enhancing communication, fostering emotional connection, and resolving conflicts constructively, Jamie empowers her clients to develop the skills and insights necessary to build resilient and rewarding relationships.
In addition to her work in relationship dynamics, Jamie works with clients who
experience depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), grief, LGBTQ+ related issues, and more. With a genuine commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment, Jamie.strives to help clients identify and explore their needs, emotions, fears, and strengths. She desires to walk with clients as they embark on a transformative journey toward building healthy relationships with themselves and others, ultimately empowering them to lead more fulfilling lives.
Jamie received her Bachelor of Arts in from Indiana University in Bloomington and
majored in Psychology and obtained minors in Counseling and Religious Studies. She completed her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Indiana Wesleyan University.
