Dr. Jenny Seiss has worked in the field of mental health with children and families as a parent educator, teacher, and therapist for the last twenty-five years. She has experience working with clients struggling with a range of emotional difficulties including depression, anxiety, trauma & abuse, and behavioral problems.
Dr. Seiss has dedicated a great deal of her academic studies to understanding the dynamics and assessment of the family system especially as it relates to the unique interaction between parent and child. Her research and passion has focused on the relationship of family dynamics and parental characteristics as they pertain to child behavior and personality development. Dr. Seiss completed her Doctoral dissertation on the effects of parenting on child behavior. Her work was published and received positive feedback in the academic community. As a professional speaker she has presented to teachers, parents, and therapists on a national level.
Dr. Seiss is trained in assessment, and has extensive experience in completing forensic custody and parenting evaluations.
Dr. Seiss is only doing custody evaluations at this time.
Dr. Seiss completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at The Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL. She is licensed in Indiana as a Psychologist and as a Health Service Provider in Psychology and is the founder of Oaktree Guidance & Wellness Center. She is a member of American Psychological Association, Indiana Psychological Association, The Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and The North American Society of Adlerian Psychology.
