KATIE JONES, LMHC, CSAYC
Katie (she/her) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works to offer a warm, nonjudgmental, and authentic connection while operating from a humanistic theory, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and/or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
The focus of her practice is to assist people in finding their innate strength to heal from harm that negatively impacts their lives, and to offer confidential support through connection as they find the courage to choose a healthier way of living. She helps people who have mild to complex mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD, as well as assisting those struggling with relationship troubles, sexual distress, cultural concerns, identity issues, LGBTQ+ adversity, and more.
Katie graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2011 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work in 2005. She has held licensure in Indiana as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2015 and has worked in both community and residential settings with adolescents and adults. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her partner and friends, playing with her dog, Milo, going to the gym, and nerding out over Star Wars, DND, and most things sci-fi and/or fantasy.
