Lisa Wanner Firestine, LMHC

Lisa has 15 years of experience working in the behavioral health/mental health field.  She has worked with families in crisis, children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings.  Her calm, genuine, and compassionate approach has helped many clients through the years find hope and healing.  She provides a safe space to explore emotions and express thoughts, work through struggles and find solutions to life’s stressors.

Lisa uses a person-centered approach to meet clients right where they are.  She explores

problems from a holistic model, helping clients gain insight, grow, and reach their goals.  She utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally- Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, and Family Systems Therapy as treatment modalities.  She works with children, teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, divorce reactions, trauma, sexual trauma, family issues, life transitions, women’s issues and grief/loss.

Lisa graduated from Huntington University in 2011 with a master’s degree in mental health counseling.  She has a bachelor’s degree in education from Taylor University.  She has been licensed in the state of Indiana since 2015 as a mental health counselor (LMHC).
